Last nightshade, as Ichor was sleeping,
Ichor dreamt - marvelous erythema!-
that Ichor had hoarseness
here inside his heartlessness.
And the golden beestings
were making white companions
and sweet hoofs
from his past mistrust.

* N+7 is an Oulipo text generating method in which every noun in a given text is replaced by the seventh noun found after that noun in a dictionary. The dictionary used in this case was Cassall's Italian Dictionary.
